This book is a very interesting read, packed with information. It explains how European folk tales, places, and other various influences affected Disney’s films before his death, especially his feature of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It includes concept art of certain characters, and pictures that inspired their look. It helped me understand more of what inspired Walt Disney to first begin making such feature animations. It is a secondary source.

Johnston, Ollie; Thomas, Frank. Disney Animation: The Illusion of Life. New York: Abbeville Press, 1981.
This book is a great resource for learning about the history of animation, and how it works. It mainly goes in chronological order, following the Disney way of animating throughout the years. Aside from being very informative, the book is a delight to look at; pages of the book are adorned with pictures, sketches, and screenshots from Disney features, as well as flip-animation throughout the pages of the chapter. This book is a primary source, written by two of Disney's "nine old men," who worked firsthand on many of the projects.

"The MultiPlane Camera." Online video clip. YouTube. 16 May 2010. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8d4-AUwkKAw
This video clip includes seven minutes packed with information about the multiplane camera, as told by Walt Disney himself.

Telotte, J.P. The Mouse Machine: Disney and Technology. Chicago: University of Illinois Press, 2008.
This book helped with the more modern portion of my project. Since its publication date is 2008, it includes the modern features like Toy Story and Monsters Inc, both including CGI technology. It includes information on how Disney technology has evolved over the years, and the workings behind the “magic.” It is a secondary source.
